《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)》（A）考試大綱

[2013年修訂版]

試點(diǎn)高校網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育部分公共基礎(chǔ)課全國(guó)統(tǒng)一考試，旨在遵循網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育應(yīng)用型人才的培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)，針對(duì)從業(yè)人員繼續(xù)教育的特點(diǎn)，重在檢驗(yàn)學(xué)生掌握英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)的水平及應(yīng)用能力，全面提高現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程高等學(xué)歷教育的教學(xué)質(zhì)量。“大學(xué)英語(yǔ)”課程是現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育試點(diǎn)高校網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育實(shí)行全國(guó)統(tǒng)一考試的部分公共基礎(chǔ)課之一。該課程的考試是一種基礎(chǔ)水平檢測(cè)性考試，考試合格者應(yīng)達(dá)到與成人高等教育本科相應(yīng)的大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程要求的水平。

考試對(duì)象

教育部批準(zhǔn)的現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育試點(diǎn)高校網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育學(xué)院和中央廣播電視大學(xué)“人才培養(yǎng)模式改革和開放教育試點(diǎn)”項(xiàng)目中自2004年3月1日（含3月1日）以后入學(xué)的本科層次學(xué)歷教育的學(xué)生，應(yīng)參加網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育部分公共基礎(chǔ)課全國(guó)統(tǒng)一考試。

“大學(xué)英語(yǔ)（A）”考試大綱適用于英語(yǔ)類專業(yè)的高中起點(diǎn)與專科起點(diǎn)本科學(xué)生。

考試目標(biāo)

本考試旨在全面檢查現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫、譯等基本技能的能力。考生應(yīng)扎實(shí)地掌握基本的語(yǔ)法知識(shí)和詞匯，具備運(yùn)用不同的閱讀和聽力技巧獲取信息的能力以及用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行口頭和筆頭交際的能力。

    聽說(shuō)能力考核暫不列入全國(guó)統(tǒng)考范圍之內(nèi)，由各學(xué)校自行組織。相關(guān)要求參見本大綱。

考試內(nèi)容與要求

【語(yǔ)法】考生應(yīng)扎實(shí)地掌握基本的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法知識(shí)，并能在交際中正確地加以運(yùn)用。

【詞匯】考生應(yīng)認(rèn)知5 000個(gè)單詞，并熟練掌握其中的2 300個(gè)詞及其基本的搭配。

【閱讀】考生應(yīng)能讀懂與日常生活和社會(huì)生活相關(guān)的不同類型的文字材料，閱讀速度為每分鐘80個(gè)單詞。考生應(yīng)能：

1． 理解主旨要義；

2． 理解文中具體信息；

3． 根據(jù)上下文推測(cè)生詞詞義；

4． 進(jìn)行有關(guān)的判斷、推理和引申；

5． 理解文中的概括性含義；

6． 理解文章的結(jié)構(gòu)及單句之間、段落之間的關(guān)系；

7． 理解作者的意圖、觀點(diǎn)或態(tài)度；

8． 區(qū)分觀點(diǎn)、論點(diǎn)和論據(jù)。

【翻譯】考生應(yīng)能在規(guī)定的時(shí)間內(nèi)將難度適中的中文句子翻譯成英語(yǔ)。考生應(yīng)能：

1． 用正確的語(yǔ)法、詞匯、拼寫、標(biāo)點(diǎn)等進(jìn)行表達(dá)；

2． 做到譯文通順、達(dá)意。

【寫作】考生應(yīng)能在規(guī)定時(shí)間內(nèi)寫出長(zhǎng)度不少于150詞的短文。考生應(yīng)能：

1． 用正確的語(yǔ)法、詞匯、拼寫、標(biāo)點(diǎn)進(jìn)行表達(dá)；

2． 內(nèi)容切題，結(jié)構(gòu)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，條理清楚；

3． 遵循文章的一般文體格式；

4． 根據(jù)不同的寫作目的進(jìn)行有針對(duì)性的寫作。

【聽力】考生應(yīng)能聽懂日常生活以及社會(huì)生活中的一般性談話，平均語(yǔ)速為每分鐘140個(gè)單詞。考生應(yīng)能：

1． 理解主旨要義；

2． 獲取事實(shí)性的具體信息

3． 了解明確表達(dá)的概括性含義；

4． 進(jìn)行有關(guān)的判斷、推理和引申；

5． 理解說(shuō)話者的意圖、觀點(diǎn)或態(tài)度。

【口語(yǔ)】考生應(yīng)能就日常生活和工作中的常見情景進(jìn)行對(duì)話，表達(dá)個(gè)人意見、觀點(diǎn)和態(tài)度。考生應(yīng)能：

1． 根據(jù)特定場(chǎng)景進(jìn)行較為有效、得體的口頭交際；

2． 基本連貫地進(jìn)行較長(zhǎng)的表述；

3． 做到語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)基本正確，無(wú)重大語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤，語(yǔ)言較為流暢；

4． 主動(dòng)交流，并能恰當(dāng)?shù)厥褂媒浑H策略。

Manhattan Island is the oldest and most important of the five boroughs that make up New York City. It is 21.7 kilometers long and 3.8 kilometers wide at its widest point. It contains New York’s tallest buildings as well as some of the largest schools and colleges, and the most famous financial and theater districts in the United States. It has skyscrapers and Central Park, the old and the new, the best and the worst. It is like no other big city. It is unique. 

To understand Manhattan, we must know something of its early history: its early days of Dutch colonists and English settlers; the waves of the nineteenth-century European immigrants who arrived at its shores; the African-Americans who moved north after the Civil War; recent immigrants from China and other parts of Asia; and young people who go to New York from all over America. From Chinatown and Little Italy to Harlem, New York is a place where communities take pride in retaining their ethnicity. Most immigrants went to America with very little money. America gave them hope and a new beginning. Millions of immigrants have prospered in America. 

On July 4, 1884, the people of France gave to the United States as a symbol of friendship, a statue sculptured by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi. This statue was placed on an island in New York Harbor. It is 46 meters high and was the first sight immigrants saw as they came into New York City by ship. It is known as the Statue of Liberty. On the statue is a poem written by Emma Lazarus. This poem sums up the American tradition of accepting people from other countries. It reads as follows: 

Give me your  tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Passage 1

The United States covers a large part of the North American continent. Its neighbors are Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. Although the United States is a big country, it is not the largest in the world. In 2000, its population was over 222 million.

When this land first became a nation, after winning its independence from England, it had thirteen states. Each of the states was represented on the American flag by a star.    There was once an ant that was very thirsty.

    It ran here and there looking for some water but could not find any.

    Then suddenly, when the ant was almost ready to die of thirst, a large drop of water fell on it.

    The ant drank the water, which saved its life.

    The water was actually a tear from a young girl who was crying. Because of her sadness, the tear had magical qualities and suddenly the ant could speak the language of human beings.

試點(diǎn)高校網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育部分公共基礎(chǔ)課全國(guó)統(tǒng)一考試，旨在遵循網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育應(yīng)用型人才的培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)，針對(duì)從業(yè)人員繼續(xù)教育的特點(diǎn)，重在檢驗(yàn)學(xué)生掌握英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)的水平及應(yīng)用能力，全面提高現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程高等學(xué)歷教育的教學(xué)質(zhì)量。“大學(xué)英語(yǔ)”課程是現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育試點(diǎn)高校網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育實(shí)行全國(guó)統(tǒng)一考試的部分公共基礎(chǔ)課之一。該課程的考試是一種基礎(chǔ)水平檢測(cè)性考試，考試合格者應(yīng)達(dá)到與成人高等教育本科相應(yīng)的大學(xué)英語(yǔ)課程要求的水平。

考試對(duì)象

教育部批準(zhǔn)的現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育試點(diǎn)高校網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育學(xué)院和中央廣播電視大學(xué)“人才培養(yǎng)模式改革和開放教育試點(diǎn)”項(xiàng)目中自2004年3月1日（含3月1日）以后入學(xué)的本科層次學(xué)歷教育的學(xué)生，應(yīng)參加網(wǎng)絡(luò)教育部分公共基礎(chǔ)課全國(guó)統(tǒng)一考試。

“大學(xué)英語(yǔ)（C）”考試大綱適用于藝術(shù)類專業(yè)的高中起點(diǎn)與專科起點(diǎn)本科學(xué)生。

考試目標(biāo)

本考試旨在考查現(xiàn)代遠(yuǎn)程教育藝術(shù)類專業(yè)學(xué)生運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的基本能力。考生應(yīng)掌握基礎(chǔ)的語(yǔ)法知識(shí)和詞匯，并初步具備運(yùn)用不同語(yǔ)言技能進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單交際的能力。

考試內(nèi)容與要求

【語(yǔ)法】考生應(yīng)掌握基礎(chǔ)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法知識(shí)，并能較正確地加以運(yùn)用。

【詞匯】考生應(yīng)認(rèn)知2000個(gè)單詞，并較熟練地掌握其中的1200個(gè)單詞及其基本的搭配。

【閱讀】考生應(yīng)能基本讀懂與日常生活和社會(huì)生活相關(guān)的不同類型的一般性文字材料，閱讀速度為每分鐘40個(gè)單詞。考生應(yīng)能：

1.基本理解主旨要義；

2.基本理解文中具體信息；

3.根據(jù)上下文推測(cè)生詞詞義。

【翻譯】考生應(yīng)能對(duì)一般難度的句子進(jìn)行英漢互譯，理解正確，表述清楚，用詞基本得當(dāng)。
